Governor Radda Visits Injured Security Operatives at Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina

Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, on Sunday evening paid a sympathy visit to members of the Community Watch Corps (CWC) who sustained injuries during a recent bandit attack in Marhaba village, Matazu Local Government Area.

The visit took place at the Federal Teaching Hospital Katsina, where the injured officers are currently receiving treatment. Governor Radda interacted with the wounded personnel, offering words of encouragement and assuring them of the government's continued support.

“Your sacrifice in protecting our communities will never be forgotten. The government stands firmly behind you,” the governor said, commending their bravery and dedication to duty.

During the visit, Governor Radda also extended his compassion to other patients in the hospital, praying for their speedy recovery.

He was accompanied by key government officials and traditional leaders, including the Chairman of the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Kabiru Bature Sarkin Alhazai; Sarkin Kuraye, Alhaji Usman Darda’u; and several district heads. The Special Adviser on Security and Community Watch, Alhaji Yusuf Ibrahim Safana, led the hospital delegation.

The visit highlights Governor Radda’s ongoing commitment to the welfare of security operatives and the broader effort to enhance safety across the state.
